This is the second time this year that Aldreds have offered to help us with publicity by printing and erecting advertising boards in front gardens of properties around Lowestoft
Dame Lizzie Crust played by Nick Garrod and also Chair of the Lowestoft Players said “This really is most generous of Aldreds to help us in this way. Our pantomime will be performed at The Marina Theatre which means that we have many tickets to sell.”
He added “It’s always great when local businesses become part of the local community, and in this case Aldreds really do deserve to have the spotlight shine upon them.”
The Snow White artwork for the boards has been created by Stephen Wilson from The Players in the hope that it will be eye catching to people traveling around Lowestoft on foot, on bicycles and in vehicles. The boards will be place before Christmas.
Darren Capps, Manager of the Lowestoft Branch of Aldreds Estate Agents stated “My team and I really enjoyed helping the Lowestoft Players earlier in the year with publicity for their production of 9 to 5 The Musical.”
We thought that it would be nice to help out again, especially as it’s almost Christmas. All we ask in return is that Dame Lizzie Crust and Justin Time stay away from our town centre office - we are far too busy dealing with customers to be distracted by any slap stick!”
There will be nine performances of the Lowestoft Players production of Snow White from 21st to 29th January.
Tickets are available from The Marina Theatre Box Office – info@marinatheatre.co.uk or by telephoning on 01502 533200. Alternatively, tickets can be booked in person by visiting the Box Office between 10.00am and 3.00pm Tuesday to Saturday.
Aldreds have been in the area since 1857. Their first branch was in Great Yarmouth. They now have branches in Stalham, Gorleston and Lowestoft. As well as being an established and very successful business in the area they are keen to play a part in supporting the local community.
The Lowestoft Players have been entertaining the people of Lowestoft since 1967.
